Well… the cat’s out of the bag. ⛏️💎

In a region built on coal mining history, we’re excited to announce we’re opening a Gem Mine — which we fully recognize is the “wrong” kind of mining for the area, but hopefully a fun one nonetheless.

While guests won’t be striking coal seams anytime soon, they will get the chance to sift for colorful gemstones, discover hidden treasures, and maybe even spark a lifelong curiosity about geology, mining, and the history that shaped this region.

Our hope is that this experience not only creates family fun, but also helps connect a new generation to the area’s rich mining heritage — just with a little more sparkle mixed in.
