McCormick County Economic Development MCED's mission is work with the county to create a pro-business climate that attracts and supports companies' growth long term.

McCormick Economic Development is the county department responsible for growing, retaining, and attracting businesses to McCormick County in western South Carolina. The goal of this mission is to increase the county tax base, raise per capita income, and raise the standard of living for the citizens of McCormick County through more job opportunities and higher wages.
