Today, I want to give a HUGE ATTA GIRL to our 911 Dispatcher, Beretta Rupp, for the incredible way she handled a recent 911 call. 📞👏

Beretta remained calm, patient, kind, and reassuring throughout the call, providing the caller with the professionalism and compassion that we expect from our dispatchers.

What makes this even more special is that the caller wanted to make sure the message got back to Beretta just to simple THANK YOU and let us know how nice Beretta was, and how much her calming and reassuring presence meant to them. ❤️

Beretta, this is exactly why what you do matters. You may be the voice on the other end of the phone, but to someone having one of the worst moments of their life, your voice can be the calm in the storm.

I am incredibly proud of you and thankful for the professionalism, compassion, and dedication you bring to our center every day.

Update: The Boil Advisory was lifted on Friday, June 5, 2026.

🚨 BOIL WATER ADVISORY 🚨
McCormick County Water & Sewer advises all residents of the Furey Plantation Subdivision to boil their water for at least one (1) full minute before drinking or cooking.

Due to a recent water leak, dirt and debris may have entered the water distribution system. As a precautionary measure, this advisory is being issued to help protect public health.

✅ Boil all water used for:
• Drinking
• Cooking and food preparation
• Making ice
• Brushing teeth
• Preparing infant formula

⚠️ This advisory will remain in effect until further notice.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and cooperation as our crews work to ensure the safety and quality of the water system.
