Free Fishing Weekend - This Saturday and Sunday, June 6 & 7, no Kansas fishing license is needed. Residents and out-of-state visitors may enjoy fishing on any public waters. Other regulations remain in effect including local fishing permits where required.

This Saturday! You do not need to sign up to attend, but if you plan on coming, please let me know so I can have the supplies ready! Children must be accompanied by an adult.

This is the wreath we will be making June 6. There is an event page for sign up. I need to add to it but wanted to show what the craft will be.

Tomorrow is Faith Godsell's official last day. She started out as Junior Library Assistant and then was promoted to Library Assistant. We have watched Faith grow into a fine young woman. Hopefully, she will come visit us often. Come in tomorrow (Saturday, May 30 from 9-1) and sign her card, eat a cookie and wish her well on her new adventure. You will be missed Faith!

Thank you and the Dock Grant for participating in our Summer Reading Kick-Off. The weather didn't stop parents and kids from getting out. Thank you to the board for serving hot dogs. Thank you T-Tex for stopping by! A very special thanks to all those that signed up for our Summer Reading Program. It was a great night and fun was had by all!

The next Community Back 2 School Bash planning meeting will be Tuesday, June 16 at 6PM. It will be in the hall at the library. The bash is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4 from 6-8 PM.

It's summer which means the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) at Greenbush is getting ready to start. We will be offering SFSP meals again this year at the library.
These are free grab and go meals for area children ages 1-18. Children must be present to receive meals and can only receive meals from one participating location a day.
Here are the details for our location:

Tuesday Thursday & Saturday
11:30 am to 12:30pm (or while supplies last)
June 9th-July 30th (no meal July 4th)
