Join us August 17th for our annual 4-H Open House 🍀 The theme is “Find your way with 4-H” 🧭 This is a great opportunity to learn about all the clubs and activities we offer throughout the year! We will have informational tables, games, and fun prizes to win 🎟️ This free event will be from 6pm to 8pm in the Heritage Park Arena at 97 Lake Dow Rd, McDonough, GA 30252.

Do you have a passion and want to share about it? Do you want to gain life skills like resume building and public speaking? Join us for our Project Achievement Interest Meeting August 12th at 6pm to learn more! This is free competition based program and open to youth going into 7th-12th grade. We will give youth opportunities to learn, share, and have fun! Meeting will be at our Extension Office at 97 Lake Dow Rd. 🍀

Throw back to Senior Camp at Wahsega 🥾 what an incredible week we had! Hiking the falls, white water rafting, shopping in Dahlonega, and the best high ropes!
This marks the end of our camping season. Check back in January to find out camping opportunities for next summer ☀️

The best place to be during the summer might just be Wahsega 4-H Center 🍀 Our 4-H’ers beat the heat with some white water rafting and spent a fantastic week learning about the outdoors and survival skills 🏕️ For middle schoolers who love nature, consider coming to Wilderness Challenge Camp next year 🐻

Marine Exploration Camp at Burton 4-H Center last week 🐠 Our middle school 4-H’ers who went had the time of their life with a shark dissection, marsh ecology, beach time, a dinner cruise, and a ton of gaga ball 🦀 Ending the week with a win for Blue Crew 🐬 Look out for information in January about camping for next summer!

I’m not LION when I say our trip to Zoo Atlanta was wild 🦒 🐅 🦍 Though it was a hot summer day, we got to see so many cool animals as well as a fantastic bird show 🦜

Outwit Outplay Outlast 🔥 8 hours, 14 kids, 1 4-H Survivor 🏆 These 4-H castaways worked through team and individual challenges to gain points 🍀 Congratulations to Rebekah for being the Sole Survivor.
Shoutout to Ms. Molli for being our “Jeff” and making the cardboard cutout of Jeff Probst himself.
