โš ๏ธ Winter safety alert โš ๏ธ

Sub-freezing temperatures will continue through the weekend, and icy conditions remain in some areas of state parks, including trails. Please plan ahead and stay safe:

โœ”๏ธ Check weather conditions before your visit
โœ”๏ธ Dress in layers
โœ”๏ธ Wear high-traction footwear
โœ”๏ธ Carry emergency supplies

Important: Keep your pets leashed and do NOT attempt to walk on lakes, even if they appear frozen. Changing currents and uneven ice thickness make the surfaces unpredictable and dangerous.
