We couldn’t have said it better!

Yes, we know what day it is.
No, that doesn’t make driving high legal.

Calling in today? Yeah we know why, and so do our DRE officers. 👀

Store it right/Drive smart. Smoke later. Stay safe on the couch and cue up instead. Out.

Last week, we recognized Child Abuse Prevention Month and the importance of protecting our most vulnerable. As April continues, we also recognize Autism Awareness Month. 🧩

All Manor Township Police Officers have received Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training. In addition, several officers have completed specialized “Spectrum of Communication” training, focused on effective interactions with individuals with autism, deafness, and other communication-related disabilities.

Our officers are committed to recognizing and respecting differences, and we thank our community for its continued support in that effort. 🤝

As temperatures rise, motorcycle traffic increases throughout the area.

🚗 The Manor Township Police Department reminds motorists that motorcycles are less visible and more vulnerable in the event of a crash. Drivers are urged to check mirrors and blind spots carefully, especially when turning or changing lanes.

🏍️ Motorcycle operators are reminded to obey all traffic laws and utilize proper safety equipment.

Taking a few extra seconds to stay aware can make all the difference in keeping our roadways safe for everyone, so we can all enjoy the sunshine. ☀️

Traffic enforcement will remain active, with a continued focus on preventing crashes and promoting roadway safety for all users.

Stay alert and share the road.

Today, the Manor Township Police Department proudly joins our community in wearing blue in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month. 💙🪻

The safety and well-being of children is a responsibility that extends far beyond any single agency. It requires awareness, vigilance, and a collective commitment from our entire community.

As law enforcement officers, we are often called upon to respond to difficult and sensitive situations involving children and families. These cases are among the most serious and impactful we encounter. Our commitment is not only to investigate and hold offenders accountable, but also to advocate for victims, work alongside our community partners, and ensure that children and families have access to the resources and support they need.

We are proud to stand with organizations such as Kay's Cottage, Armstrong County Child Advocacy Center, PA and others who work tirelessly to prevent abuse, support victims, and promote education and awareness throughout Armstrong County.

Manor Township Police Department remains committed to protecting children, supporting victims, and strengthening partnerships that help build a safer community for everyone.

Hi there! I was found out by Belknap auction in the Dayton area last night and not sure where I belong.

Does anyone know who I am? My owner didn’t put tags or a chip me. My rescuer came to see the MTPD to get scanned.

Please contact us at: 724-763-9677 or 724-548-5105 if you know who this little guy’s mom or dad is.

He’s being boarded at a local kennel and safe for the night.

Armstrong County Humane Officer County Case Number: 656.
Manor Township Police Incident Number: 2026-0164
_____

Manor Township Police Department is seeking the community’s help to identify the person or persons responsible for shooting and killing a yellow Labrador and leaving him over the hillside on Goat Hill Road, Manor Township, Armstrong County.

On 03/13/26, an individual riding a side-by-side vehicle located the animal over the hillside and contacted Manor Township Police. Officer Stephen Daub then contacted Humane Society Police Officer Susan Clark to assist.

On 03/14/25, Armstrong County Humane Police Officers Clark and O'Donnell arrived at the scene. The dog had no identification or microchip, only a metal choke chain style collar around his neck.

Dr. Becky Morrow, Forensic Veterinarian, performed a necropsy (autopsy for animals) and determined the dog was a senior Yellow Lab that had been shot in the back of the neck.

Anyone knowing anything about the person or persons responsible for the killing and disposal of the dog is asked to contact one of the following immediately:

Humane Officer Susan Clark: 724-316-7691
Humane Officer Chris O'Donnell: 724-954-9515
Manor Township Police Officer Stephen Daub: 724-548-5105

📢 After careful review, the Manor Township Police Department would like to remind everyone that Manor Township is a No Crime Zone.

We realize this policy may be inconvenient for anyone considering doing crimes today, tomorrow, or at any point in the future. However, after extensive internal discussion, we have decided to keep the rule in place.

Residents are encouraged to continue doing normal Manor Township activities such as mowing the lawn, waving at your neighbors, arguing about the weather, and telling us about the suspicious vehicle that “definitely drove by twice.”

For anyone thinking about committing a crime, we kindly ask that you simply… don’t, because this is a No Crime Zone. 🙅🏼‍♀️

As always, thank you to the residents of Manor Township for continuing to follow the “please don’t do crimes” guideline. It really helps simplify our day.

Thank you for your continued cooperation in maintaining Manor Township as a No Crime Zone.
