One of the coolest parts of this job is crossing paths with your sister ship while both crews are out doing what they do best—caring for patients and serving our communities. There’s always something special about meeting up at the vertiport, sharing a quick hello, and then lifting off in different directions back to base. Everyone please give a HUGE shoutout and congratulations to Flight Nurse Kira!!! Today, Kira completed her last clinical rotation, thus completing her MSN program to become an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner!!! Kira juggled working full time with LifeNet, completed classroom course work, and attended a plethora of clinical hours, in addition to being an incredible mom to her two beautiful little girls, with grace. What an INCREDIBLE accomplishment!!!

Did you know that Air Methods offers Landing Zone (LZ) training programs free of charge to emergency first responders, including fire departments, law enforcement, and EMS personnel?! 🚁🦺

The specialized curriculum teaches teams how to safely establish, secure, and manage a temporary helicopter landing area during scene calls and hospital transfers. This safety training is coordinated through local outreach teams- ([email protected]). You have the option to have us come out and teach the classroom portion only, or to have us teach the classroom portion WITH the aircraft flying in for the hands-on portion. Virtual options are also available if requested.

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸

From all of us at LifeNet 3-1, thank you to those who gave everything for the freedoms we enjoy each day. We also keep their families, friends, and fellow service members in our thoughts today.

As we spend time with loved ones this Memorial Day, may we never forget the true meaning behind the holiday. ❤️🤍💙

Today, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the profound responsibility we carry in our own mission. To the fallen heroes and their families, we are forever grateful.

Great turnout at today’s hands-on airway course! 🚁🫁

Our crews spent the day sharing knowledge, advanced airway techniques, and rotating through hands-on skill stations focused on real-world airway management challenges. The day was packed with great education and collaboration.

A huge shoutout to the legendary Scott Anderson for leading the SALAD station and helping crews sharpen the skills needed to manage contaminated airways in the field.

Thank you to everyone who came out to learn, and train with us today. Training like this keeps all of us ready to provide the highest level of care for our patients and communities every day.
