McHenry Township Fire Protection District Official Fire Department Page for McHenry Township Fire Protection District We run 24 hours a day out of five stations with Paramedics and Firefighters.

The MTFPD provides Emergency Response Services to 56 square miles and approximately 55,000 residents residing in McHenry, Johnsburg, Lakemoor, McCullom Lake, Ringwood, Holiday Hills, Wonder Lake and Bull Valley. In addition, we have a full-time Chief, 2 Deputy Chief's, 3 Battalion Chief's, Fire & Life Safety Educator and Prevention Bureau. We are the 41st busiest Fire Department in the State of Illinois.

CPAT testing opportunities are available through the National Testing Network and other testing sites.
