Friends of the McHenry Public Library The Friends host fundraising events, including used and ongoing book sales, and sponsor such program The Friends board and members generally meet at 7 p.m.

on the third Thursday of alternating months in the library's Meeting Room. All potential members are welcome to attend. Volunteer opportunities include book sales, book sorting, membership, special events, and organizing tours. Membership Benefits

In addition to nurturing the library, Friends contribute to the growth and well-being of our community. Membership also provides an opportunity to have fun and socialize with others who value the library's contributions to our lives.
