Summer School Fun Continues!

This week in our MS robotics lab, we’re diving deep into the world of innovation as we build our very own Turnabot robots!

Students enjoyed brainstorming ideas and sketching designs to assemble components and program movements with STEM components.

Students also collaborate, share ideas, and learn from one another. We're loving to see all the creativity in action!

A big Warrior congratulations to Mr. Christopher Whipple, Mrs. Sharon Little, and Mr. Cameron Nicely! 🎓

This morning, these three educators were recognized at the Oconee RESA GaTAPP Completion Ceremony, marking the successful completion of their teacher certification program.

Balancing coursework, classroom responsibilities, and everything in between is no small feat, and we are proud of the dedication each of them has shown throughout this journey.

Thank you for choosing to invest in our students, our schools, and your profession. Your hard work has paid off, and today we celebrate you!

Here's a message from our Media Center Specialist, Ms. Qualls.
This summer, the public libraries in Gordon and Irwinton will host exciting summer reading programs featuring fun activities, special guests, and opportunities for students to keep reading all summer long!

Registration is now open, and you can sign your student(s) up at either location. We hope to see many of our students participate and continue building their love of reading during the summer months. As a special incentive, all students (rising Pre-K-8th graders) who participate in the summer reading program will be invited to enjoy an ice cream party in August! Happy Reading!
