The City of McKenzie is seeking candidates interested in operating the baseball/softball concession stand at the McKenzie City Park.
• Bids for the concession stand operation will be accepted from the highest bidder.
• The successful candidate must meet with Parks Director and must adhere to all food
prep/sanitation guidelines set forth by the Health Inspector and receive a good rating.
• All grilling/cooking must be done outdoors. Microwave, popcorn popper, and warmers may be
used inside.
• Concession stand must be fully staffed and operate with a minimum of 2 windows open for all
baseball and softball games with the exception of the opening day jamboree.
• At the conclusion of the ball season, all food / drink supplies will be removed and the interior of the concession stand cleaned and keys returned.

• Bids will be accepted until February 25, 2026

INVITATION TO BID

The City of McKenzie is seeking sealed bids for sod installation of Bermuda sports turf in an area 240 ft. x 360 ft. and an irrigation systems 200’ x 320’, with an in-ground fully automative system including pop up sprinkler heads at the soccer complex located Park Street in McKenzie, TN 38201.
Proposals must be submitted to Billy Hollowell at 2470 E. Cedar, McKenzie, TN 38201-0160 no later than 3:00 PM CST on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. All bids must be sealed and BID written on the envelope. For questions, call 731-571-5294 or email: [email protected]
