MCC Board Meeting, THIS Sunday 5/31 10am-noon:

The McKinley Park Community Club Board of Officers will hold its Annual Meeting this coming Sunday, May 31 starting at 10:00am in the Community Center. We will provide a Zoom link for streaming this meeting in the coming days.

Per our bylaws, the Annual Meeting is where we would elect new Board members; however there are no current vacancies to fill on the Board for the upcoming year.

We will discuss summer facility maintenance and work plans, water testing process and results (which we will also share with community water cabinet users), an update on the potential future transfer of the McKinley Village Pit property across the road, and we'll finalize our task list for...

Community Work Day, 12-4pm:
As previously announced, we welcome neighbors and community members with some time and energy to spend to help us with some maintenance projects inside and outside the center. Bring work clothes and gloves. Lunch and beverages will be provided.

The McKinley Park Community Club Board of Officers will meet next Tuesday, April 14, from 6 to 8 pm. The meeting will take place in the main room of the Community Center.

Please email us at [email protected] if you wish to participate, but cannot attend in person. We may have an option to stream it on Zoom, but want to make sure there is interest in joining remotely before we set up a Zoom call.

The WiFi in the Community Center is down. Credit to MTA for the swift replacement of our modem — but our WiFi router was also a casualty of the lightning strike. We should have the router replaced late next week.

FREE - or donation welcome: two heavy duty folding tables - 6x3 feet. Stil perfectly functional, a little banged up. They are outside the front door of the Community Center (against north wall of fire hall). Come and get them before the rain!

McKinley Community Center will host a Community Work Day to help us take care of some refurbishing, organizing, and cleaning tasks inside and outside the building.

THIS SUNDAY, June 1 - noon to 4pm

Grilled lunch, snacks and refreshments provided. If you wish to bring any extra picnic-style snacks or side dishes, please bring self-contained items to serve outdoors (the kitchen and usual food serving areas inside will be a work zone).

We'll follow up after our Board Meeting this Thursday night with any specific requests for tools or supplies to bring, once we have finalized our task list.
