It’s council week and I am IN town this week so I will be at city hall tonight (Monday) from 6-8 and the council meeting is on Tuesday with work session starting at 3 and the regular meeting at 6. If you’ve got something on the agenda you’d like to visit with me about, stop by tonight. Or if it is something not on the agenda, you’re welcome as well. Agendas are in the comments.

My picture is from our recent trip to Rome and it’s the Aqua Claudia. It would have been completed by Claudius in 52 AD. Many people point to Rome’s infrastructure, its roads and water system, as a main reason the city was so successful. We’ve got lots of infrastructure work being done around the city, especially in old McKinney. I was also at the annual meeting of the North Central Texas Council of Governments meeting last week and the North Texas Municipal Water District and its member cities (including McKinney) won an award for the cooperative work in planning and ex*****on of regional water and wastewater services. This stuff may not be exciting but it is the core of what makes this region successful.
