AVID kids, we are going to organize a trunk or treat event for Friday, October 29 at the MHS parking lot. so start getting your head around how you can help. We will invite other clubs to join us and make it an event. We are in the planning stages now.

To all AVID students, there will be an AVID parent meeting on Monday at 6:30 in the auditorium. I'm going to do about 10 minutes of comedy and then talk about our AVID program at MHS. Bring your parents and I'll give you a cookie.

Alrighty, I have found some of my stuff and need some more help this tuesday decorating my room. I need people to cut out letters for my three bulletin boards, put up my WICR and AVID mission posters, and people to use my college brochures to create a "Where are you going?" bulletin board. It'll be double hours for Green cord if you want to help.

Don't forget to be at MHS tomorrow morning at 9AM to help Mrs. Davenport put the teacher computers back in the rooms. You may have to enter from behind the library.

All right, kids. We will be moving the computers back into the teacher's rooms this Wednesday starting at 9AM. Let me know if you're going to come. You can get Green Cord and AVID volunteer hours for this.

I need volunteers to work at the school. We have to get all the computers back into all the classes. This will be a good way to get your green cord hours. You'll probably get your AVID required volunteer work done before school starts.

The MHS AVID barbecue is on for Tuesday, August 16 @3:00. I need a list of volunteers to set up and to man the AVID Table during Fish camp from 1:00-3:00.
