Cats can hear sounds at frequencies of 60,000 vibrations per second or greater, while humans typically top out around 20,000. That incredible hearing helped their ancestors detect tiny prey, even when it was hiding underground.

🐾 Umber’s Doggie Day Out! 🐾

Umber got a break from shelter life today, and we learned one very important thing about this boy… he has a BIG heart and just wants to be loved! ❤️

This sweet 2-year-old Labrador mix was happiest soaking up affection and spending time with his people. Sometimes the best Doggie Day Out isn’t about where you go, it’s about getting a chance to relax, feel loved, and show everyone who you really are outside of the shelter.

Umber is an affectionate boy with so much love to give. Now he just needs someone who will give all that love right back. 🥰

His day out was great, but we think a forever day out would be even better! 🏡🐾

🐾 Scone’s Doggie Day Out! 🐾

It sounds like Scone didn’t just have a great Doggie Day Out… he completely stole some hearts! 🥹🤍

This handsome 4-year-old Husky spent his day getting exactly what every shelter dog deserves, lots of love, attention, cuddles, and time away from the shelter. His Doggie Day Out family absolutely loved spending time with him and said he made their day so special. 💕

Scone is such a sweet boy who is ready for more than just a day of cuddles. He’s looking for a forever family who will love him endlessly, spoil him, and give him all the affection and happiness he deserves.

His DDO family made some wonderful memories with Scone… now we need someone to give him a lifetime of them. 🏡❤️
