Also, I always wanted a band of my own named "The Groovers". My daughter, Sara, did the artwork on the bassdrum for me. Which reminds me......

I could not be more proud of my little daughter, Sara (aka Rita, Tika) (surprised she hasn't had an identity crisis with all the names....)
Whatever name you know her by, she put in the work, over many years, while still nurturing relationships in all phases of life. I'd love to say she was like her dad but I'm just not that bright. Congratulation to Mom, Dina Philips, who made Sara what she is today!

Rod McCall's life is the ultimate story of triumph over tragedy.

I was honored to spend the day with these young people, the producers of HBO's Toxic Series. Their passion for what they do was only outweighed by the compassion they demonstrated for Rod McCall, all he has endured and all he has become!

I remain in humble gratitude for each of you.
