The Dowell MS August 2026 Leading Lion is our technology specialist Michael Falcon.

Michael works his magic and keeps our campus running smoothly. He has an amazing knowledge of technology and is always ready to use his expertise to solve problems and support our staff and students. Beyond his technical skills, Michael brings a funny, dry sense of humor that adds a little extra personality to our campus. He fits right in with the Dowell team. We are grateful to have Michael on our campus.

Welcome Jake Mancini to Dowell MS as a DSSC Para.

I am so excited to be joining the Dowell Middle School staff! I’ve worked in McKinney ISD for 6 years and was at Eddins for them all. I’m looking forward to seeing many familiar faces at Dowell.

I live in McKinney and most of the time, you can find me on the baseball field. I coach two teams as well as work with so many others.

Welcome Ella Cantu to Dowell MS as a 7th grade Science teacher.

I am so excited to begin my first year as an educator teaching 7th grade science. I was born and raised in McKinney, Texas and am proud to be a former Dowell Lion. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma and am a very passionate Sooners fan!

In my free time, I enjoy crafting, spending quality time with friends and family, and watching new movies! I enjoy finding ways to incorporate hands-on techniques and creative approaches in my classroom. I am so excited to meet my students and families and am looking forward to having a great year!

Welcome Bee Meyers to Dowell MS as a Art teacher.

I have loved getting to work at Dowell as a SPED para this past year so much that I knew I had to come back! This is my first year as an Art Teacher and I cannot wait!

I attended BYUI where I got my bachelor’s degree in Illustration last year. We have lots planned this year, and I can’t wait to see how our art projects turn out! We have so many fun things in store this school year!

Outside of school, I am constantly working on new art projects and spending time with my younger siblings! So Excited to be at Dowell this year!
