Meals on Wheels Collin County prepares 1,200 Meal Per Day, Monday through Friday, serving Collin County, Texas. Meals on Wheels provides a daily, hot nutritious meal and personal contact to homebound elderly citizens.

MOWCC will serve approximately 1,600 Collin County seniors receive meals through this program. Meals are prepared in our central kitchen in McKinney and delivered to several drop points around the county. Volunteer drivers deliver the food to client's homes. This service is provided on the basis of need, regardless of income, to persons 60 years of age and older who are homebound, unable to shop or cook; have no family or caregiver available at noontime to prepare a meal; nutritionally at risk and a resident of Collin County.

Appreciation Post Alert 🚨
Towne Creek Apartments is a living community dedicated for older adults (age 62+). Many of these residents receive meals from our program. A team of residents donated 1,100 Christmas cards for our clients. Each card has a personal message from one of the apartment residents. Their team also sent out more than 1,000 additional cards to nursing homes in McKinney.

Guess what? We just finished our fiscal year!
From October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020, we delivered over 290,000 meals to more than 1,800 clients. We also delivered countless emergency supplies, including masks, hand sanitizer, hygiene items, and so much more.
