Progress on the Mason Building (aka the historic McKittrick Bank).🛠️

The old drop ceiling and ductwork are gone. Hello ceiling, fresh air, and those gorgeous historic windows. ✨

The ceiling is getting a chance to breathe and air out before we close it back up later in the year.

Every layer we peel back brings us closer to the building’s original soul — and I’m loving every bit of it.

1905 Fun fact — before McKittrick Bank opened, its cashier J. E. Lavender went to Marthasville to learn the banking business.
