✝️ TOMORROW IS THE DAY ✝️

After so much prayer, work, support, and dedication… the South Mississippi Cross is expected to be raised tomorrow. 🙌

As of right now, we are hoping this will take place sometime between 10:30–11:30 AM, but please understand that weather conditions could still affect or change plans.

Due to the rain and muddy conditions at the site, we ask that people do not drive up to the actual construction area, as vehicles could easily get stuck. If you would like to come watch this incredible moment, you are welcome to park and walk (Bring a lawn chair!) or watch from a distance from your vehicle. We will have more parking details to follow.

We also want everyone to know that we plan to have a special celebration/ribbon-cutting ceremony at a later date once the weather permits and the lights have been installed. ✨

It is hard to believe this moment is finally here. Thank you to every person, church, business, volunteer, donor, and supporter who helped make this possible. We still have much to cover, but this is the incredible moment we have been praying for💛

The land for the new cross was donated by a Lucedale family, while funding was raised by the people of Greene County and surrounding areas.
