Other victims were not so lucky.

Would you be able to spot a victim like her?

Bill Woolf - National Human Trafficking Intelligence Center

The National Human Trafficking Intelligence Center was created to deploy the most up-to-date training to professionals in the identification, response, and intervention to suspected cases of human trafficking. Meeting the call for capacity-building training for those on the front-lines of combatting human trafficking, the NHTIC collaborates with industry experts to deliver the most robust and effective training available. The training programs are based on established best-practices.

Additionally, the NHTIC supports law enforcement officers through compiling and analyzing data in real-time, delivery actionable intelligence to law enforcement to respond to and rescue victims of human trafficking and prosecute the offenders. One of the biggest barriers for law enforcement is access to resources to compile this data. The NHTIC fills that need by providing that information, free of charge.

The NHTIC partners with communities, non-profits, victims, school systems, GOV agencies, as well as the transportation, healthcare & hospitality industries, to engage employees and individuals to effectively identify and report human trafficking.

We do this with a world class documentary film that sets forth the story of modern trafficking followed by experts that provide educational curriculum specific to your organization.

John Carter - Human Trafficking Intelligence Center

Neuroscience proves that we all learn, process faster and remember content more effectively through visual storytelling. This is why we have paired Bill Woolf’s curriculum with a ground-breaking documentary so that participants engage with the subject matter on a deeper emotional level. Our curriculum includes a screening of the film, expert panels, speakers and workshops tailored for your needs.

Experiencing the desperation and confusion ourselves while making the film, we felt there was something more we could do as filmmakers and this is why we created the National Human Trafficking Intelligence Center with Bill Woolf.

“In my career I’ve never been a part of a film that effectively and emotionally told a story so difficult and necessary. When we show the film to audiences, we continually get requests for more information from individuals and organizations that want to combat modern slavery". - John Carter

National Human Trafficking Intelligence Center Documentary

In the eyes of many Americans, slavery is viewed as an archaic institution that was expelled from the United States shortly after the conclusion of the Civil War in the 19th Century. But like any persistent virus, it has merely adapted itself to modern society and injected itself into the lifeblood of American culture. Sex trafficking - the latest iteration of slavery - is a prominent issue among advocate groups and political figures alike, and it is an epidemic that bears no distinction among race, gender, socioeconomic status or location. Our documentary “American Exploitation” focuses on the complex, subversive nature of sex trafficking and the efforts of social advocates, law enforcement agencies, state legislators, and victims-turned-heroes to effectively eradicate the volatile system from the idyllic area of southwest Florida and create lasting change in the world.

Slavery is humanity’s most ancient and discordant social practices. What many Americans don’t realize is the prevalence of slavery in the “modern” era. In fact, the business of sex trafficking is occurring all around us. Wealthy towns like Naples, FL are not immune to this form of slavery and neither is your community. To better understand domestic trafficking and its’ effect on our youth and neighborhoods, this film is available for license to nonprofits, school systems, lawmakers and law enforcement, hospitals, casinos, hotel chains, fund raising and special events. Contact us and we will assist with an ongoing license of the film or an event with the filmmakers and experts fighting to protect our youth and communities.

It's Child Abuse Prevention Month. Thought your page might appreciate this story. Thank you for what you do. ❤️ 🎧
THIS can save lives and I need help spreading the word to put a team together to make it happen. Please share, it's just a demo/image (first draft) but you'll get the point and how quickly this can solve missing person cases in those first critical hours. Wado. Please forgive my copy/paste of a message I sent to Suzanne Alden. I tend to ramble when I'm passionate about something and have an idea of how to solve an issue. This, being the ability to actually locate missing persons within those first 48 hrs. Feedback, input, advice, share is all very welcome. It wouldn't take long to do this, but it will take village. Perhaps it could also help solve cold cases too. Osiyo, I'm putting together a board to integrate tech with public transit to increase 1. awareness and 2. help find missing persons (women, girls, boys and Inidgenous persons). Attaching an initial demo of what monitors will look like using smart tvs and pulling data from missing person databases in real time. (With some additional techie stuff.) Will need to establish relationships with public transportation facilities, starting first with bus transit (high target for traffickers due to vulnerable populations using them). As well, will also need to work with those who have databases to ensure locations, silver and amber alerts are kept up to the minute real time. There are also numerous grants this would be eligible for to cover expenses. A strong team and board is needed. It takes a bit to design the graphic so everyone can see the features this will have.)
I'm confused: If you knew of someone that was able to transport you women/youth for "empowerment" and model of their community and their non-profit as a way of getting funds to cover costs for a for profit business, along with using that travel to do so as well, if you knew there was proof wouldn't you want others to know, wouldn't you want to see the person at least not be allowed to work with youth or transport them or be in anyway shape or form involved in it? Do you trust men that pay for sex and then ask for money to invest in their company for stock options? Do you trust men to be around and "empower" young women that degrade them? I reported all of it through your NHTIC and others, including law enforcement. NO REPLY and that is the biggest complaint anyone has that actually reports sex crimes. My email is [email protected] I'm not a statistic for any organization (NGO or NPO or Government Agency). I'm a human being that for most of my life has not been treated as one. It's not a crime to be born female, but apparently it isn't a crime to harm us either. Years ago I reported (LVMP, FBI, etc. etc.) someone that was using several women (he'd post us on Backpage) in Vegas at his discreet office that was a front for sex, not what their ad originally stated. Most women being trafficked have been emotionally traumatized for so long we don't realize we even are. Tons of proof, does anyone care or is it just for grants like the guy running an NPO of his own?
