It’s WAY BACK WEDNESDAY friends!

This week we bring you a collection of items on the Hamilton County Courthouse from the very miscellaneous folder we mentioned last week! It holds little booklets, newspaper clippings, poems, cartoons…you name it!

Let’s fast forward a bit to the 2027 Consolidated Election 💨

Packets to run for the Hamilton County Unit 10 School Board are available in our office starting today. Candidates can start circulating petitions now. The first day to file petitions for the 2027 Consolidated Election is November 16, 2026. You can find other important dates and details in our Candidate Checklist below.

Packets to run for other municipal offices or special districts will be available with each municipal clerk or secretary.

Attn: All voters of Hamilton County

Over the next week we will be mailing letters from our office along with an application for Permanent Vote By Mail. This notice is legitimate and is a mandated mailing to be sent in a specified time period prior to every General Election. (Illinois Election Code 10 ILCS 5/19-2.5 & 19.3)

If you are already signed up for PVBM or the OPT-OUT option, you will not be receiving an application.

Please take the time to read the enclosed letter, as we have done our best to explain the different response options available.
