Over 89 personnel assigned to all 3 Steel Brigade Battalions answered the call for Round 2 of this week's winter storms making up 21 of the 73 State Active Duty Force Packages staged in East, Central and Western parts of NC. Through prepatory training on equipment, Soldiers ensure readiness when called to respond to transport, recovery, and emergency missions.

During Brigadier Morrison, DJS, and CSM Baker, State CSM's visit in Greensboro, they presented SPC Mothershead a coin for SUPERIOR performance and taking initiative while conducting a "how to" on snow chain employment.

Finally, in the calm after the storm, members stationed in Greensboro constructed the Steel Brigade mascot who strongly represents our motto, One Team, Twice as Strong"!!
