Last call for Fall Ball! Register for the coming Fall Youth Baseball/Softball/T-ball season at the Milner Recreation Center front desk. Registrations end Sunday August 16th at 5:30PM. T-ball ages (3-6) are $60 and baseball/softball (7-18) ages are $70. League determined by participant's age on May 1st, 2026.

Paddling on the Barren Fork just got a whole lot more accessible for everyone! 🚣‍♂️✨

We are super excited to highlight our new BoardSafe Adaptive Kayak Launch at Riverfront Park! Designed with a stepped bench, overhead grab bars, side rails, and a retractable seat, it gives paddlers of all abilities a safe, stable, and seamless way to slide into the water and enjoy the river.

Whether you use adaptive equipment or just appreciate a smooth, wobble-free entry, here is how quick it is to use:

Step 1: Place your kayak in the chute and slide it in front of the stepped bench.

Step 2: Transfer onto the stepped bench and make your way to the bottom level.

Step 3: Pull out the retractable seat and slide yourself over your vessel.

Step 4: Use the overhead grab bars, straps, and side bars to lower yourself comfortably into your seat.

Step 5: Slide the Retractable Seat back.

Step 6: Launch and enjoy your paddle! 🌊

Join us Saturday evening at the Gilley Pool for a special dive in movie showing The Lion King (2019). Admission is $5 per person and gates open at 7:45PM. We are looking for 5 more 18+ Adult Soccer players to join our Fall Adult league! Games are Saturday evenings at Pistole Park starting August 29th. Registration is $80 per player. Late registrations for Fall 2026 Youth Baseball/Softball/T-ball have begun and will run until this Sunday 8/16! Late sign ups are $60 for ages 3-6 (t-ball) and $70 for ages 7-18 (baseball/softball).
