U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team

The F-35A Lightning ll Demonstration Team qualified as an Air Combat Command single-ship demonstration team, February 29, 2020, at the Heritage Flight Training Conference held at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, Ariz. The Lightning II is a stealthy, multirole, all-weather air-to-air and surface attack fighter. It is designed to enable direct attack against the most heavily defended ground tar

gets. The team is made up of one combat-ready pilot and fourteen Airmen, all assigned to the 388th Fighter Wing at Hill Air Force Base.

What a weekend, Offutt Air Force Base 🎇

We loved putting on a show alongside the iconic F-5 and showing you the power of the world’s most advanced fighter jet. Hope you had as much fun as we did!

Saturday was especially meaningful as Rambo had the honor of enlisting 12 future Airmen. These 12 raised their hands, answered our nation’s call, and made the commitment to serve something bigger than themselves. For that, we should all be proud. Our team, and our Air Force, is lucky to have them. 🇺🇸

Our team had a blast this week meeting guests and industry partners from around the world. Together, you helped us showcase the world’s most advanced fighter jet and our most capable Airmen. 🌎

We were honored to host the Honorable Michael Duffey, Under Secretary of War for Acquisition and Sustainment, and Lieutenant General Gregory Masiello, Program Executive Officer for the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office, for jet tours and team meet and greets. 🇺🇸
