Good morning everyone! Just a friendly reminder about what is and what is not acceptable in the glass recycling dumpster behind the fire station. ♻️

Acceptable: Clean Glass. πŸ«™

Not Acceptable: Everything Else. πŸ“Ί

The mugs that you see in the photo are ceramic, NOT glass. Therefore, they cannot be recycled. They could be donated however. β˜•οΈ

Please also do not place any trash or anything else beside the dumpster, someone from the township will have to clean it up. πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

A side note: candles with wax in them cannot be recycled. Do not put them in the dumpster. You can, however, remove the wax first and then recycle the glass. Check out this link from a shop in Lawrenceville about how to remove the wax: https://www.chezlapingoods.com/blogs/news/recycling-rewards-returning-used-candle-jars

Better yet, reuse the jar and take it to a candle maker like the one mentioned in the link or to Forgotten Glass Candle that is at the Peters Township Market in the Park every Wednesday and have it be made into a new candle (the EQB does not endorse any of these companies, this particular EQB admin likes them ☺️)

Thanks and have a happy Fourth of July! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
