Remember A Shift’s project???

Well… THEY FINALLY FINISHED IT! 🏁🔥

Over the course of 4 shifts, the crew completed 5 bags worth of Lightning McQueen parts 🚗💨 — with their ONLY instructions coming through the radio!

This fun training exercise was designed to highlight just how important clear and effective radio communication is in EMS. Radio operations can be an underrated skill in this career, but when the pressure is on, clear communication can make ALL the difference.

We’re proud of A Shift for taking on the challenge, sticking with it, and putting their radio skills to the test! 👏🏼

Now the real question… who’s ready for the next project? 👀🏁

WOW, McPherson... you absolutely showed up!

After 3 incredible days of collecting school supplies, here's the final result... 11 overflowing totes filled with supplies for local students in need! 📚✏️🎒

In fact, your generosity was so overwhelming that we had to get MORE totes to hold everything! We started with 6 totes!

To everyone who donated, shared our posts, or stopped by to support the drive—thank you.

Because of this amazing community, this was our biggest School Supply Drive yet!

We are so grateful for your generosity and can't wait to see what we can accomplish together next year. ❤️🤍

Day 2 of our Back-to-School Supply Drive is HERE! 🎒🍎

We collected more school supplies on the very first day than we ever have before!

Those donation totes in the picture were supposed to last us through Day 3... and they're already almost FULL! 🤯👏

Today, A-Crew traded the ambulance for a box of LEGO bricks to sharpen one of the most important skills we use every day, clear communication.

One team member acted as the "dispatcher," providing only verbal, step-by-step instructions while another crew member assembled the pieces without seeing the instructions. The exercise required patience, active listening, precise communication, and teamwork, skills that directly translate to emergency response, patient care, and working together under pressure.

I'm happy to report they successfully completed Bag 1 of the build!

The challenge isn't over yet, though. We'll see how many more shifts it takes A-Crew to finish the entire car. Stay tuned for updates as the build, and the teamwork continues!

Duty called this morning, and between running 911 calls in this Kansas heat, our crews were definitely feeling thirsty. ☀️🍋

Cue the cutest little lemonade stand! We couldn't resist stopping by for a refreshing cup (or two). It gave us a chance to catch our breath, meet some of the amazing young members of our community, and enjoy what we can confidently say was award-winning lemonade.

Moments like these are a great reminder that it's the little things—and the people in this community—that make even the busiest days a little brighter.

C Shift traded the streets for an obstacle course today, putting their driving skills to the test! 🚧

Look out, cones... just kidding! 😅 This crew proved they're talented at two things: saving lives and navigating an ambulance like pros.

Safe driving is a skill we take seriously, and today was a great opportunity to sharpen those skills while having a little fun along the way.

Have no fear... Paramedic Kylee Bonneville is here! 🦸🏻‍♀️🚑

After successfully completing an intensive 16-month Paramedic Program—filled with countless hours of classroom instruction, hands-on labs, hospital clinicals, and a field internship on the ambulance—Kylee has officially reached this incredible milestone.

She has now completed her promotional orientation and is OFFICIALLY serving as McPherson EMS's newest Paramedic! 🎉

This achievement reflects months of hard work, dedication, and perseverance, and we couldn't be more proud to have Kylee on our team.
