🤢Out with the muck and in with the magnificent. 🧼✨

A process a little overdue, the Memorial Park Pond is getting a refresh.

The crew was hard at work Wednesday removing old water and sludge from the Memorial Park pond. It's a dirty job but someone has to do it.

When cleanup is complete, the department will install a new fountain and lights to give the awesome park feature a new shine.

Big shoutout to the McPherson Wastewater Department for their help in removing and disposing of the dirty remains as well as Culver Fish Farm for safely removing the fish and storing them until the process is complete and the water is safe for fish replacement.

Also, check out the size of the 40-pounder!! 😳
