FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING THROUGH TUESDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Atascosa, Bandera, Bastrop, Bexar, Blanco, Burnet,
Caldwell, Comal, De Witt, Dimmit, Edwards, Fayette, Frio,
Gillespie, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hays, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr,
Kinney, Lavaca, Lee, Llano, Maverick, Medina, Real, Travis,
Uvalde, Val Verde, Williamson, Wilson and Zavala.

* WHEN...From 7 PM CDT this evening through Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...There is a potential for life threatening flooding
somewhere in the watch area. Excessive runoff may result in
flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and
flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their
banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Very humid tropical air and a stalling front will result in
heavy rain. Isolated pockets with rain totals of 8 inches or
more are possible with rain rates that could exceed 2 to 3
inches per hour at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop

Happening now 🚨 Constable Faulkner and Deputy Herring are out on FM725 and Lakeside Pass for a structure fire along with GCSO McQueeny VFD, Guadalupe County Fire Rescue, Lake Dunlap VFD and New Braunfels FD. The road is blocked. Please try to avoid this area.

On 06/08/26 Deputy Herring conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. Constable Faulkner and Deputy Lieck arrived on scene to assist. Due to having probable cause to search the vehicle the passenger was escorted out of the vehicle and found to have a handgun in his waistband without a holster. The passenger was arrested for Unlawful Carrying Weapon and Possession of Ma*****na. The driver was found to be in possession of Methamphetamines and arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1.
