Attention Residents:
The office will be Closed today September 3,2026. The Office is Closed Monday, September 7,2026 for Labor Day Holiday. As always you can drop your rent in the drop box. LATE FEES WILL NOT BE ADDED UNTIL AFTER SEPTEMBER 10,2026. As our policy states tenants are allowed “5 working days” grace period before late fees are applied. We hope you all have a safe Labor Day weekend.

I would personally like to thank each of our residents that worked hard to have your apartments ready for the NSPIRE Inspection yesterday. Plese be aware that maintanance will be coming back to some of your apartments the next few days to make some repairs. I am proud of what we are accomplishing at McRae Housing Authority! Together we can make a difference!

Attention: Residents
Today is the last day before our NSPIRE Inspection. Please remember that ALL smoke detectors must be up. There is a $75.00 dollar charge per smoke detector that is not up and it will be a lease violation. Please clean off your front and back porches and remove anything that is not outdoor furniture from the porches. Please have your unit clean and uncluttered and nothing blocking the windows. If you have any questions please call the office at 229-222-0850. Thanks in advance for helping us prepare for this inspection.

Dear Residents

This letter is to remind you that HUD-required NSPIRE inspections will take place on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Randomly selected units, along with common areas and building systems, will be inspected to ensure compliance with housing health and safety standards.

To prepare for the inspection, please ensure that:
Smoke detectors are installed and working properly.
Windows and exterior doors are not blocked.
Bedroom and bathroom doors are unlocked.
Stoves and ovens are clean.
Your apartment is clean and free of clutter.

Residents are encouraged to be present during the inspection. If no adult is home, inspectors may enter the unit and leave notice of entry. Pets, especially dogs, must be secured if no one is home. Housing Authority staff may also enter units prior to the inspection to complete preparation activities.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain safe and quality housing for all residents.

ATTENTION RESIDENTS: Please be preparing for our NSPIRE INSPECTION on September 1, 2026. Please have your unit clean and uncluttered. Please remove anything that is blocking a window. Maintenance and Contractors may be coming to your unit over the next two weeks to work on replacing doors and smoke detectors. Please be aware that if we find your smoke detector down that you will recieve a $75.00 charge and a lease violation. Please make sure your stove top and oven are clean as well. If you have any quesitons please feel free to contact the office at 229-222-0850. We appreciate each of you so working hard to have your unit ready.
