Carbon Credits Unlimited We sell trees planted in your name to help clean the air, provide wildlife habitat and reduce erosion. We are an enviromental company. Sincerely,

Dan Cox

Thanks everyone for visiting our website! My name is Dan Cox and I have an appraisals business which requires me to drive, and I mean drive a lot. I drive approximately one hundred thousand miles every year and I think a lot on these long and boring trips. One day I started wondering what I could do to help clean the air that my car pollutes. After careful thought, I came up with an idea to plant

trees to offset my carbon emissions while driving for work. I did some research and found that trees are an economical, efficient and safe way to store thousands of tons of carbon dioxide emissions. As you probably know, a tree takes in carbon dioxide, stores it and gives off oxygen. I did some research and found out that each gallon each gallon of gas produces about 14 pounds of carbon dioxide. Over 12,000 miles (the distance an average American will drive in a year), a 25 mpg car will produce 3.4 tons of carbon dioxide. This is a large amount of carbon dioxide. I wanted to do something that would really make a difference so I started taking Ponderosa Pine seedlings, (from my back yard), with me to work and planting them in burned areas and other areas where trees were sparse. I thought what a great way for people to be able to wash the air of the Carbon Dioxide they produce every day. Most climate scientist blames CO2 for global warming. The benefit of CO2 reduction is incredible and everyone can participate. This is truly a great way for the average person to make a REAL difference in our environment. I want to sell you these trees and plant them these trees and plant them in burned out forests around the world. This would not only help with air quality and global warming, but it would help with erosion, water clarity and wildlife habitat. With the help of some great people we have built this website so you too can purchase the trees that we are planting all over the northwest. I want to give you the opportunity to give these trees, as gifts, to their friends, family and business associates to help clean the air we breathe. You can also buy the trees for yourself to offset your carbon footprint. The greatest aspect of this offer is that the trees will be in the ground for hundreds of years and doing the job they were intended. This will actually do well for the environment and not just talk about it. I will also be partnering with the United States Forest Service to get specialty trees into National Parks, such as the White Pine which is on the decline in Yellowstone National Park. These specialty trees are a little more expensive, but are very important to the parks with Grizzly Bear population. We understand people are busy, but everybody wants to help. Ccarbon Credits Unlimited has developed a plan that helps the environment in three diffrent ways. By purchasing these trees, that we plant for you; you reduce CO2 in the atmosphere, control soil erosion, and create better wildlife habitat. These three things benefit the air we breath, the water we drink, and the habitat for animals. Creating a better environment and leaving a cleaner planet for our children. Thanks for taking the time to read and become informed on this important issue.

A Great Gray Owl photographed in New Hampshire. This is America's largest owl. I have photographed these birds in all the states of New England except Rhode Island. They come here from the Boreal Forests of Canada when the food supply in Winter becomes a shortage. www.mooseprintsgallery.com

There's nothing else quite like the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Come see it for yourself.

What I love most about rivers is
You can't step in the same river twice
The water's always changing, always flowing
-Disney's Pocahontas

Rivers in Grand Teton are always changing. While change makes for constant new views, it can also be hazardous for those recreating in the many waterways throughout the park.

Flows increase and decrease depending on the day, and new obstacles can be washed down river. Even water that appears calm can carry a strong current and swiftly knock you off your feet. Rocks and branches can cause snags that trap even the strongest of swimmers.

When recreating on or near creeks and rivers, extra caution is advised. Be aware of what's down river from you, don't attempt to cross high flowing waterways, and always bring a buddy when on the water.

Changing rivers are a beautiful thing - help us stay when recreating near them.

The past few days the mountains have been covered in a blanket of clouds, leaving us daydreaming about sunsets like this! What do you daydream about on a cold and rainy day?

Picture this: you're hiking along a calm lake, the blue sky and distant mountains reflected on it's surface. Everything is fresh and perfect until you look down to find a piece of trash in the middle of your oasis.

While there are many great natural parts of the landscape in Grand Teton, trash is not one of them. Aside from being an eyesore, trash is bad for the landscape and can be a hazard to wild animals. Wrappers, napkins, water bottles, and even apple cores and banana peels are all unnatural to the landscape.

When out exploring Grand Teton, help keep the landscape clean by packing out what you pack in. Bear proof dumpsters are located throughout the park and at most trail heads. Carry your trash out, properly dispose of it, and help keep our landscape clean and .
