🚧 WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTION & BOIL WATER ADVISORY 🚧

Due to a water main line break, water service will be shut off beginning at 10:00 AM today while crews make emergency repairs.

Additionally, the City Building will close at 12pm today, January 27, 2026.

💧 Service Restoration:
Our goal is to have water service restored by 4:00 PM. This timeline may change depending on repair conditions, and we will provide updates as work progresses.

⚠️ BOIL WATER ADVISORY ⚠️
Once water service is restored, a Boil Water Advisory will be in effect for three (3) days.
During this advisory period:
• Bring all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or making ice to a rolling boil for at least one minute, then let it cool before use.
• Bottled water may also be used as an alternative.
• This advisory is out of an abundance of caution to protect public health.

We understand the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience as crews work to make repairs as quickly and safely as possible.

We’re starting to collect yard signs all throughout Meadville now. Thank you to everyone who voted for Mayor Jaime Kinder, Mary Wofford-Moody, and Andrew Herbstritt, protected a yard sign, or did anything at all to help us win and continue to improve this city.

The people of Meadville made their voices heard — and tonight’s election results are proof that our city is ready to take the next step into the future. Together, we’ve made transformational progress in Meadville: revitalized parks, safer homes, greater protections for tenants, and a new ambulance service. These wins just scratch the surface of what’s possible when we elect leaders who put the interests of our people first.

But our work isn’t done yet. To build a stronger, more affordable Meadville for all of our families, it’s going to take everyone, no matter your political party, to step up and take responsibility to solve the challenges ahead.

You can bet we’re going to keep fighting for Meadville.
