Vernon Township VFD Former Volunteer Fire Department of Vernon Township Crawford County PA.

VTVFD was founded in 1938 and was a 100% Volunteer public service department that provided Fire, EMS, and other public services to the municipality of Vernon Township along with Vernon Central Hose Company. VTVFD also provided said services to neighboring municipalities upon the request of their respective public service entities up until the department was permanently closed by order of the Vernon Township Supervisors in 2022.
