As part of our work to end discrimination and bigotry in PA, we provide educational resources for businesses, nonprofit organizations, and governmental entities. 2. End the use of conversion or "ex-gay" therapy on all minors in Pennsylvania.
3. Mandate health insurance coverage for healthcare for the transgender community.
4. Improve anti-bullying laws in Pennsylvania to help protect LGBTQ+ youth.
5. Reduce LGBTQ+ youth homelessness through promotion of safe houses and scholarship opportunities for homeless LGBTQ+ youth.
6. Keep Pennsylvania's elections open, fair, and accessible to all eligible voters.
7. Protect LGBTQ+ older adults.
8. Reduce suicide by LGBTQ+ people in Pennsylvania.
9. End the gay/trans panic defense in criminal trials.
10. Add real or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and disability to the list of protected classes in Pennsylvania's Ethnic Intimidation law.
11. Stop library and school classroom book bans that seek only to remove LGBTQ+ reading and instructional materials.

The PA Equality Project is a 501c3 nonprofit organization and 509(a)(2) purely public charity that seeks to end discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community in PA. We also seek a ban on conversion therapy. We provide educational resources about and for the LGBTQ+ community.
