Today we express our deepest gratitude to Meadville Firefighters IAFF Local 515, Randolph Volunteer Fire Department 18, West Mead #1 Volunteer Fire Company, West Mead #2 Volunteer Fire Department, Cochranton Volunteer Fire Dept & Emergency Service, and Hayfield Central Hose Company #1 who stood with us yesterday in honoring and saying goodbye to Bill Coston, a Life Member of our department.

Your presence in the procession was a powerful reminder of the brotherhood that binds us all together. The line of apparatus, and the unity shown, spoke volumes about the respect we share for those who dedicate their lives to service.

Thank you for standing beside us, for supporting our department, and for helping us give Bill the farewell he truly deserved.

Rest in Peace Bill, we miss you.

Department 9 was honored to join the eacort that welcomed the 2025 Maplewood Lady Tigers PIAA State Volleyball Championship Team home Saturday evening. Following the coach bus that carried the team from Interstate 79 in Meadville, all the way to Maplewood High School, seeing so many people standing along the route waving and cheering the team, not just within the city limits but all the way to the school and then joining everyone who was there to cheer them on as they exited the bus and proudly walked into the high school, was an experience like none other. Congratulations Lady Tigers, you worked hard and your community is proud of you!
