PRIVATE PESTICIDE APPLICATOR TRAINING
A private pesticide applicator training will be held 9:00 am -3:00 pm, Monday, July 20, 2026, at the Franklin County Office of the Mississippi State University Extension Service, 20 Walnut Street, Meadville, MS. A private applicator is a certified applicator who uses or supervises the use of restricted-use pesticides to produce an agricultural commodity on his or her own land, leased land, or rented land or on the lands of his or her employer. Private applicators must be at least 18 years of age. This is a 6 hour course and the cost is $60.00 payable to MSUES by check or money order –NO CASH. The registration fee must be paid by the registration deadline of Thursday, July 16th at 5:00 pm.
