In honor of Veteran's day on Monday, we salute John Stuntz Allegheny class of 1865. His studies were interrupted by the Civil War. As a stretcher bearer at the battle of Gettysburg, Stuntz carried a soldier to safety on his back under crossfire. His valiant efforts saved the soldier's life and led to his own paralysis.

Blue & Gold weekend is almost here, Allegheny! Students and alumni alike will be making their way to Robertson to watch the game. Before the facilities at Robertson were built, athletic events took place at Montgomery Field. Until 1946, crowds passed through this iconic Arch Gate to see the games.

Tech Tip Tuesday – Updated Working Hours in Google Calendar

Announced last week, updates have been added to the Working Hours feature of Google Calendar.

Some of the recent changes include:

- When you schedule an event on your calendar with others, their working hours are shown in the calendar grid.
- You will see a notification if you try to schedule an event outside of a guest’s working hours.
- Working hours is now turned on by default.
