💔 On Tuesday, the world lost Dolly Parton, but the legacy she leaves behind extends far beyond her music.

Dolly spent her entire life giving back. From her advocacy for rescue animals and wildlife conservation, to putting more than 300 million books into the hands of children, supporting healthcare initiatives, and stepping up for communities in times of disaster. Generosity and kindess was simply part of who she was.

Dolly showed us just how much good one person can put into the world.

We can think of no better way to honor an icon than to follow her example.

Foster or adopt.
Give what you can to someone in need, even if it’s just $1.

Every act of kindness matters.

If Dolly’s life inspires you to do anything, let it be something kind.

URGENT! Harrisburg, PA

CPAA is in need of a quiet foster home for Buddy. Buddy is currently in the emergency room recovering from ingesting grapes. He needs a place to recover with someone who can offer a quiet environment and get him to vet appointments for blood work to check his kidney values. We know this is a HUGE ask, but there must be someone out there who can help!

Being in rescue is difficult. Everyone asks us for help on a daily basis, but when we are the ones asking, the offers of help are non-existent. So please, we are asking if there is SOMEONE out there willing to step up to offer Buddy a soft place to land.

Buddy is good with other dogs, but is leery of some men, so an all female home would be best. Buddy is middle aged, so he is more on the chill side.
