Simpson Library will be closed on Saturday, June 20 since we're getting our parking lot re-sealed. We'll be closed on Sunday, as well, and the entire parking lot will be off limits until Monday morning. No Simpson items will be due, but if you really want to return something, the book drops on the porch will be available! You'll just need to follow the sidewalk from North Walnut Street up to the porch to avoid walking in the parking lot. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!

We'll be closed all day on Thursday, June 18 for Jubilee Day! No books checked out at Simpson will be due and no holds will expire on the 18th. You can park in our parking lot for $5 per car with the proceeds going to the Friends of Simpson Library. Hope to see you around town on Thursday and back at Simpson Library on Friday!

Work has resumed on the HVAC replacement project today! The Upper Level of the library will remain open for browsing, reading, and working, but you should expect more noise than usual!

Rockwell's and Ashcombe Farm and Greenhouse on Wednesday, June 17, bring along flyers from Simpson Library and a percentage of your purchase will be donated to the Friends of Simpson Library! Whether you're getting your yard and garden ready for summer or want to go out for a meal, bring along that flyer to participate!

Today's Simpson Celebrity is the Upper Allen Kiwanis Club! 🎉 The Kiwanis Club sponsors LEGO programs at Simpson Library contributes to many other organizations in our community as well. Right now they are raising money together with the Mechanicsburg Museum Association with a blueberry sale! Call the Museum or visit their website to order a box of blueberries by June 19 for a taste of summer while supporting local institutions and organizations!

Whether you're looking to dust off an old sewing machine, need help customizing a pattern, or just want to mend a favorite pair of jeans in good company, come to The Stitch Lab on Wednesday, June 10 at 6:30pm! Last month, attendees fit patterns, learned visible mending techniques, and helped one another with their projects. All skill levels welcome! This is a space to learn, create, and connect. No judgment, no rush. Just friendly faces, shared laughter, and a relaxed, welcoming environment!

The butterflies emerged over the weekend! Join us on Thursday at 5:30 p.m., before STEAM Club, to witness their release.
