OUR TEACHERS ROCK! This week is Teacher Appreciation Week and over the course of the week, we’re highlighting the amazing teachers who we named earlier this school year as our Teachers of the Year! Next up is Taylor Harrison of Laurel Meadow Elementary School!

Mrs. Harrison is a fifth grade teacher and has been an educator for seven years with the past two years spent at Laurel Meadow! She said she loves teaching because “I love making learning fun! There is nothing better than building knowledge and having fun while doing it. I love getting to know my students and their unique personalities. The best part of teaching is that every day brings something different- an exciting new topic, a challenge, an experiment, or an engaging discussion. Fifth grade is the best!”

What does it mean to be teacher of the year for Laurel Meadow?
