It Takes a Community - And That’s What We’re All About.

At the Mechanicville Area Community Services Center, we’re here for our community..every age, every stage, and every season of life.

From childcare and youth programs to our food pantry, family services, community events, domestic violence advocacy programs, arts and recreation, and so much more, we work every day to connect people with the resources, opportunities, and support they need.

We provide a place where kids can learn and grow, families can find support, neighbors can access food and essential items, and our community can come together.

And the best part? We couldn’t do it without you. Our volunteers, donors, partners, staff, and community members make everything we do possible.

There’s always something happening at MACSC - and there’s always a way to get involved.

FREE Parenting Classes Are Back This October!

We’re so excited to welcome families back for our FREE Parenting Classes this fall!

Our informal caregiver meetups continue on Thursday mornings from 9:30–11:00 AM. Stop by, meet Nicole, and connect with other local caregivers!

Curriculum begins Tuesday, October 6 at 9:30 AM (6 S Main St 12118).
AND… WE HAVE AN EVENING CLASS!!!
Are you a working parent who has been trying to find a way to connect? We’ve got you!

Join us Thursdays at 6:00 PM beginning October 8 (6 S Main St. 12118).

Parenting is a journey, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. Bring your children! On-site childcare is available during class.

That’s a wrap on Summer Camp 2026! ☀️

From field trips and adventures to endless laughs, new friendships, and memories we’ll be talking about long after the summer ends, our campers packed a LOT into these weeks.

We hope our campers and families had as much fun as we did! Thank you for trusting us with your kids and letting us be part of their summer!!

And a HUGE shoutout to our incredible summer staff! Your positive energy and creativity made this summer one to remember. A very special thank you to our Childcare Director, Marianne, who truly is the best of the best! Her leadership, dedication, and heart for our kids and families help make everything we do possible.

Another summer in the books!! We’ll see many of you before and after school, but until next summer, campers!

We’re Still Collecting Baby Items!

We are still accepting donations for our upcoming Free Community Baby Shower, presented by Healthy Families Saratoga County & MACSC!

If you have gently used baby items that your family no longer needs, we would greatly appreciate your donation. Items can be dropped off Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the front desk ( MACSC - 6 S. Main Street, Mechanicville, NY 12118)!

Our Community Baby Shower is a special opportunity to celebrate new and expectant families throughout Saratoga County and will include:

Free baby items
Free raffles and giveaways
Community resources available on-site
Information and support for growing families

Our Spectacular Haunted House, happening Thursday 10/29 & Friday 10/30 this year, is officially in the works, and we want YOU to be part of it!
