🚨 Neighbors Helping Neighbors — We Need Your Support 🚒
When an emergency happens in Medaryville or the surrounding area, help doesn’t come from far away—it comes from right here at home. It’s your neighbors. It’s volunteers who step away from their families, farms, and jobs without hesitation to protect our community.
For generations, the Medaryville White Post Township Volunteer Fire Department has answered the call—responding to fires, accidents, medical emergencies, and especially fast-moving farm and field fires that are all too common in our rural area. This service isn’t optional—it’s essential.
Now, we have an opportunity to take a major step forward. We’re working with KIRPC and the Community Foundation of Pulaski County to build a new fire station—one that allows our volunteers to serve safely and efficiently. A major grant application will be submitted on December 2026, but it won’t cover the full $1.7 million cost.
đź’Ą This is where you come in.
This project is about more than a building—it’s about readiness, safety, and protecting our homes, livelihoods, and lives. Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to the finish line and shows strong community support.
🙏 Will you join us in keeping Medaryville safe?
Together, we can ensure that when the siren sounds, our firefighters have the facility they need to continue protecting us all. Thank you for your support, your pride in our town, and your commitment to our community. ❤️
To meet the grant application requirements, we are working through the Community Foundation of Pulaski County for donations. Please make checks payable to “Community Foundation” with a note: Medaryville Fire Station. All contributions stay local and directly support construction of the new fire station.
