Lifeguards do need to take a certification course in order to become a lifeguard.

HINKLEY POND WILL BE CLOSING ON SATURDAY AUGUST 20TH AT 2:00PM.

Please be aware that after this date, there won't be any lifeguards on duty at the pond. On Tuesday, August 23rd, the pond will receive its final chemical treatment of the summer.

Thanks to CrossFit Games athlete Spencer Hendel for visiting Hinkley Pond for a swimming workout this afternoon. Spencer, from Reebok CrossFit Medfield, is training for the CrossFit Games in July in Carson, CA. Good luck Spencer!
