🥰I want to give a sincere thank you to everyone that showed up this election and supported me and my passion for change for our teachers and students!
Another loss won’t stop me from continuing to be a vocal advocate for our schools and everyone in them, and I would love to see all of you at future school board meetings! Because I will be there!
(Picking up signs this week, so if you see yours go missing I took it 😉 Might be needing them again soon!)

‼️We are in the final days of voting!! Don’t forget to turn in/mail your ballot by May 20th! And please remind everyone you know to do the same! Every vote matters, and local elections are the most important!‼️
❤️As a mother of 5 children, with 4 currently enrolled in the district, my most important job is to make sure they are healthy, safe, and prepared for the future.
🏫 Unfortunately, I think current administration has been failing our school staff in many ways, which in turn leaves our students with a struggling education system.
📚Currently our students struggle with literacy and math, attendance and graduation rates are lower than average, and behaviors continue to be a daily challenge for both teachers and classmates, causing constant disruptions in their school environments.
These are just a few of the many concerns I have regarding our district.
⏰ I have been attending school board meetings regularly for over 3 years, which has made me well aware of the issues the schools, staff, and students are facing, and how they have been handled. I am wanting to bring teacher and student voices to the board meetings. I want transparency as well as increased parent and community involvement in our children’s education.
☺️I would look forward to the opportunity to listen and collaborate with school staff, teachers, administrators, and fellow board directors to see what can practically be done to help our school employees and, most importantly, our students.

This time I’m not the only one who noticed something is wrong with current board policy when it comes to filling a vacancy after a resignation is submitted.
In case you didn’t hear, this article breaks it down simply, and thankfully brings attention to a candidate forum that not many people would have heard about otherwise.
Candidates across all positions, regardless of how we differ in many ways, agreed that the way the current school board is handling this vacancy-is suspicious to say the least.
Public comment meeting is happening on May 22nd! The same day that all applications are due.
It is always important to show up to these meetings, and if you have something to say about your vote/voice not counting for this fourth open position, May 22nd is the time to say it.
🚨Also, only 5 more days to turn in your ballots!! Don’t forget to remind everyone you know to vote! 🚨

Most people I have talked to, in the last couple weeks, were not even aware that an election was coming up. This is the harsh reality all candidates face, and we can’t win if no one knows that they need to vote!

How can you help?

By telling people! ☺️ You all can help me help our students by getting the word out about the election and encouraging them to vote!
Try telling 2 or more people a day, at work, the gym, wherever you spend your time-let people know that ballots are due May 20th and our children’s education is a crucial reason to make sure they fill it out!

Hey everyone! Did you know that less than 7% of the population votes in special elections?! Many people I have already spoken to didn’t even know there was an election coming up in May, which is pretty common.
I want to change that, and I need your help! I would love to give some fliers to people willing to walk their neighborhood and hand them out! Getting the word out that an election is coming up is the best help I could ask for!! 🙌🏻❤️ Let me know if you’re interested! Thank you ☺️

There is lots of work to be done in the district. Many factors involved and many decisions to be made surrounding the budget and a new superintendent.
Staying informed and being part of the conversation is something I have been trying to do for many years now, so I look forward to the opportunity to be your voice to help make important decisions that affect our children.

While the 2025-26 Medford School District budget process will involve much discussion of state and federal funding uncertainties, ongoing enrollment declines and increased operating costs, school district officials say they’ve dealt with uncertainty before, and they’ll do so again.
