Had a great time with these four Raiders at Lambeau Field! ❤️🖤 So fun to see our students step into leadership and represent Medford so well. Grateful I got to be part of the experience with them!

Last week, four of our student athletes/ Raiders Committed members attended the InSideOut Initiative Student Leadership Conference at Lambeau Field!

They focused on purposeful leadership, teamwork, and making a positive impact on their teams and school.

We’re proud of these Raiders for growing as leaders on and off the field and exited to watch them apply what they learned! ❤️🩶🖤

A few minutes of laughing together can ease stress and build connection. Even when they’re getting taller than you, they’re never too old to play!

Between homework, activities, and busy schedules, teens still need time to be kids.

This weekend, make room to have a little fun together. Toss a football, play a quick game, jump in a leaf pile, or let your teen pick something silly to do. It doesn’t have to be planned or picture-perfect.

What a great opportunity for youth in the Medford area ♥️

We’re excited to offer something new for kids in our community this October!

Every Tuesday in October from 3:45–5:15 PM, Adam and Emily will guide your youth on age-appropriate exercise, movement, and healthy habits.

Kids will learn why staying active matters, along with the basics of exercise, healthy eating, hydration, and the connection between physical activity and mental health.

It’s FREE and open to everyone! No registration or membership is required.

🚌 Bus Route 10 will drop kids off from school, making it an easy to get here!

And parents, you can even get your own workout in while the kids are participating!

We’d love to see your kids come out, get moving, have some fun, and build healthy habits together. 😊

What a great way to kick off Homecoming Week! 🔥 🏈 ♥️

Last night, Raiders Committed hosted our Homecoming Bonfire which creates a fun, safe place for students to hang out, connect with friends, enjoy some pizza, and make memories together. We had a great turn out of students with over 200 students!

As a school social worker and Raiders Committed advisor, I love seeing opportunities like this where kids can simply be kids, have fun, and feel connected. These types of positive connections matter more than we sometimes realize. 🫶🏼

A BIG thank you to Nestlé for providing pizza for our students and to the Medford Area Fire Department for supplying a couple firefighters to help keep the evening safe.

So proud of our Raiders Committed students for helping lead the event and creating a welcoming space for their peers ♥️ Medford Area Senior High School

Ever wonder how your teen can make it through an entire school day, hold it together around friends and teachers… and then completely fall apart when they get home? 🫠

Sometimes, home is where they feel safe enough to finally let go.

The big emotions, the attitude, the tears, the silence…it doesn’t always mean home is the problem. Sometimes it means they’ve been holding it together all day and finally feel safe enough to release it.

Instead of jumping straight to fixing, correcting, or asking, “What is wrong with you?”… try connection first. 🤍

Try:
✨ “You seem like you’ve had a long day. Want some space or some company?”
✨ “You don’t have to talk right now. I’m here when you’re ready.”
✨ “Do you want me to listen, help, or just sit with you?”
✨ A snack, a car ride, a hug, or simply sitting nearby.

You don’t have to have the perfect response every time.

Connection is what your teen still needs and it isn’t built through one big, perfect conversation. It’s built through lots of little ones. The check-ins. The car rides. The snacks. The “I’m glad you’re here.” The moments when you show them, again and again, that they are safe with you. ♥️

Sometimes the most important thing we can give our teens isn’t an answer. It’s a safe place to land.

Tonight was a great reminder that we don’t have to walk through hard things alone. 💜💚

I had the opportunity to attend the for Su***de Prevention & Mental Health Awareness alongside some of our Raiders Committed students and so many community organizations. ♥️

Mash Raiders Committed is a team of students who help promote a safe, healthy, and supportive lifestyle within our school community. I’m so proud to see our students showing up, standing together, and helping spread the message that mental health matters and asking for help is a strength.

Thank you to everyone who walked, remembered, supported, encouraged, and helped bring awareness to such an important cause.

Thank you for putting together an amazing event Prevent Su***de Taylor County Taylor County Health Department Taylor County - Human Services 💟

Together, we can remind others: You matter. You are not alone. There is hope. ♡
