โœจ What a milestone moment! As we wrap up our program year and celebrate 50 years of service, early this year we were thrilled to welcome AmeriCorps Seniors leaders Mark Loyd and Robin Corindo to our community. Their visit reminded us why this work matters so deeply.

AmeriCorps Seniors programsโ€”like the ones at CVNโ€”bring vital support to classrooms, nonprofits, and older adults across our region. ๐Ÿ’› They help reduce social isolation, strengthen intergenerational connections, and ensure volunteers have meaningful ways to give back. Our community is stronger, more connected, and more resilient because of this partnership.

During their visit, Mark and Robin saw what truly makes this place shine: the volunteers, partners, and supporters. ๐ŸŒŸ Thank you for showing the power of compassion, collaboration, and community spirit. Together, we continue to make a differenceโ€”one relationship, one classroom, one act of service at a time.

๐Ÿ’™ Hereโ€™s to 50 years of impact, and to the many more ahead.

Celebrating kindness in action! ๐ŸŽ‰

Grandma Beth, one of our amazing Foster Classroom Grandparents, was recognized at Phoenix Elementary School with a custom bag that says "6-7 and Pretty Lady" and signed by the children she supports. We're told there is much laughter and many inside jokes with this cohort ๐ŸŽ’๐Ÿ™‚ What a beautiful reminder of the impact caring adults can have in a classroom.

Thank you to the Phoenix Elementary community for welcoming volunteers with open arms. Enjoy your summer break โ€” weโ€™ll be spending ours building new skills in child development and preparing volunteers for another great year ahead.

Happy Summer, everyone! ๐ŸŒผ โœจ If you are 55+ and interested in volunteering for this program, learn more by emailing [email protected] or calling 541-857-7786 ๐Ÿ’•

๐ŸŒŸ United Way Day of Caring 2026 was a huge success! ๐ŸŒŸ

This year, Community Volunteer Network staff teamed up with our co-workers at Pacific Retirement Services to give back in a big way. Together, we rolled up our sleeves and built a brandโ€‘new gazebo for the Medford Humanitarian Pear Orchard ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’š

It was a day filled with teamwork, laughter, and community pride โ€” all for an organization doing incredible work right here in the Rogue Valley.
