approximately 22.4-mile paved, multi-use
trail that links the cities of Ashland, Talent,
Phoenix, Medford, and Central Point in
Jackson County, Oregon.

This Saturday 6/5/26, The Crater Color Classic Run will be happening on the Bear Creek Greenway Between the Expo and Pine Street in Central Point. This event is scheduled from 10 am - 12:30 pm. Please slow down, be safe, and share the path. Have a great Weekend!

Starting tomorrow, June 3 & 4, contractors will be completing some scheduled maintenance on the Bear Creek Greenway between Blue Heron Park in Phoenix and Valley View Road in Ashland. Temporary delays may be necessary. Please use caution when traveling through & around the work area.

***EVENT NOTICE***

Saturday 5/2/26, the Oregon Army National Guard will be hosting a march on the Greenway between Lithia Fields in Medford and Wranglers Arena in Ashland. This event will be held from 4am to 1pm. 200 participants are expected. Users are asked to slow down, share the path, and be ready for extra pedestrian traffic in these areas.

***EVENT NOTICE - SATURDAY 4/25/26***

Saturday 4/25/26, there will be 2 events happening on the Bear Creek Greenway.

The Bear Creek Stewards will be hosting a clean-up event in all sections of the Greenway between 9am and Noon. Its not too late to get involved. Visit https://www.stream-smart.com/bear-creek-clean-ups/ to get signed up to volunteer!

The Medford Pear Blossom Festival will be hosting a bicycle event on the Greenway in Medford between Bear Creek Park and South Stage Road. Visit https://pbbikeevent.com/ for more information.

Users are asked to slow down, and be on the lookout for additional pedestrian and cycle traffic on the path. Please be safe and we will see you out on the Bear Creek Greenway!

***GREENWAY WORK NOTICE***
On Friday 2/13/26, Contractors will be removing a small section of the path and replacing with concrete. This section is near the Dean Creek Road entrance of the Greenway in Central Point. Please use caution when traveling around the work zone.

10/15/2025

Today 10/15/25, Drainage Maintenance Operations were completed in Central Point and South Ashland. Tomorrow 10/15, Operations will continue beginning in North Ashland (Wrangler's Arena) to Phoenix. Temporary stoppages are to be expected. Please be careful traveling through the work zone.

***EVENT NOTICE***
Tomorrow 10/11/25, Medford Ride For A Cause will be hosting an event that will utilize the Bear Creek Greenway between Medford and Central Point. Please share the path and watch for increased cyclist traffic in these areas. Have a safe and happy weekend!

** 2 Important Notices for Thursday 9/11/25 and Friday 9/12/25: **

1. The Bear Creek Greenway will be fully closed at E. Glenwood Rd. in Medford near the Water Quality Pond. A section of the Greenway will be removed in this area. Users will need to find alternate routes between Northridge Terrace and South Stage Road in Medford during this time.

2. Crack Sealing will be happening between Lynn Newbry Park in Talent and S. Valley View Road in Ashland. Travel may be temporarily halted to let the hot filler material cool/cure. Expect brief delays in this area, and use caution when traveling around the work zone.

Greenway Work Notice: Beginning Thursday 9/11, and Friday 9/12, Crews will be crack sealing between Lynn Newbry Park in Talent and S. Valley View Road in Ashland. Travel may be temporarily stopped at times while the crack fill material cools/cures. Please use caution when traveling around the work zone.
