◀️ Take Me Out to the Ballgame! (Eau Claire)
⏰ 10:45 am – 3:15 pm
⚾Join Us for some fun at Carson Park! ⚾

The Menomonie Blue Caps, Afton Red Socks and the Rum River Rovers play 3 matches in Eau Claire's Carson park, at Gelein Fields, starting at noon.

No gloves, pillbox hats... It may not be 1860, but they're playing 1860 rules!

Wondering about 1860s "base ball" and how it's played? Enjoy a brief presentation 11am at the Wisconsin Logging Museum (just across from the field) before heading over to enjoy the game.

There is plenty of playground equipment for the littles if they need a break from all the baseball action! Or just come for the playground if you're not into baseball. 🛝

Feel free to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy it in the park!🧺

This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy nature, get some exercise, and spend time with other RVA families in a beautiful, accessible outdoor setting.

Congratulations RVA Class of 2026 Graduates and families! On behalf of the entire Rural Virtual Academy staff, thank you, parents and guardians, for allowing us to support, encourage, and celebrate your students throughout their high school years. We wish all of our graduates continued success, happiness, and fulfillment as they begin this exciting next chapter. Here are just a few of the photos from our ceremony last week.

Check out our amazing new mural created through RVA Pride collaboration!

This incredible project measures 8' x 8' and is made up of 225 individual panels. Each panel was hand-painted by RVA students, staff, and families, making it a true RVA Pride collaboration.

We were excited to work with Wausau artist Stephanie Kohli on this project, and we can’t wait to have the mural mounted and displayed at the Learning Center!

This project was truly a team effort, and we are so proud of everyone who helped bring it to life.

Once your family has been accepted into RVA, you're in, no need to re-enroll each year, but you do need to complete your Online Registration annually. That deadline is today! It will take less than 15 minutes, so you will be done before you know it!

Last night, we had the opportunity to celebrate at the Medford Area Public School District’s retirement ceremony and recognize an incredible milestone for RVA’s own Colleen Waldhart on her retirement after 34 years of teaching service.

While Shari Culver and Karla Svedarsky were unable to attend the ceremony, we also want to give them a HUGE congratulations on their retirements and thank them for their years of dedication to students and families.

Together, these amazing educators have dedicated 91 years to teaching and making a difference in the lives of students.

As the RVAMAYZING year comes to a close, we recently hosted some fun celebration dances at our Learning Center for Elementary and Middle School. It was a fantastic day filled with music, friends, and unforgettable moments, all in honor of what makes RVA so special! A BIG thank to everyone who attended. Check out the pics 😎
