On November 30th, the NW Alliance for Clean Transportation, the Renewable Hydrogen Alliance, and BYD will co-host a webinar designed to help participants understand when it will make sense for their fleet to convert to Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), hydrogen fuel cell technology, or battery-electric technology. Each of these technologies has its own merits and its own space within the low-carbon, alternative transportation fuel sector. Importantly, we will invite fleet managers to describe challenges faced, and benefits derived, from their respective fuel switch. These fleet managers will also be on hand to answer technical and maintenance-related questions.

Not all electric vehicle chargers are the same, and that may seem confusing to consumers at first but it is really quite simple. The process really isn’t that different from re-charging a mobile phone battery at home and on-the-go.

Did you know that natural gas powers more than 175,000 vehicles in the United States and nearly 23 million vehicles nationwide? Today, many businesses and consumers are choosing vehicles powered by natural gas because they are good for the environment and has the potential to save over their lifetime when compared to diesel and gasoline vehicles.

Natural gas vehicles have been the ideal solution for fleets, busses, and other transportation vehicles for many years because they achieve economical mileage and can be easily refueled at centralized hubs. However, as natural gas vehicles have become more popular as an increasing number of natural gas fueling stations have popped up around the country, making natural gas vehicles a good option for consumers as well.

The West Coast Collaborative and its partners are kicking off the Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Corridor Coalition (AFICC) webinar series.

Over the next four months, the AFICC will hold informational and discussion-based webinars on "filling the infrastructure gap" and building out alternative fuel corridors for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. In partnership with the states of Washington, Oregon and California, public and private partners will work together to identify priorities and needs to support infrastructure development and enable clean vehicle deployment.

Join us on Thursday, September 20th for AFICC's first webinar entitled, "The Landscape and Opportunities for Medium- and Heavy-Duty Vehicles."

During this webinar you will learn from regional partners about the following:

1) AFICC goals and objectives
2) Oregon alternative fuel corridor priories and needs
3) Overview of current Oregon M/HD alternative fuel partnerships

Register today and hear from the U.S. Federal Highway Administration, Oregon Department of Transportation, Oregon Metro, Oregon Department of Energy, and the private industry on how each partner is promoting alternative fuel corridors.

**The results of the AFICC webinar sessions will inform the development of a regional plan and strategy to support project implementation.**
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
